The new deputy Minister of Education and Religions of Greece said that the procedure of exemption from the subject of Religion (or better Orthodox Indoctrination) should be simplified. She said that it is not acceptable to write on an official document what a child isn't. Until know the parents should state, in order to achieve the exemption, that the pupil is not Christian Orthodox. She said that, that shouldn't be stated. It should be enough to state, that they just don't want their child to attend these lessons.
The Greek Theocrat talked haughtily about a ... lady talking nonsense and she has no right about that. It came to her head. Only the Greek Constitution is responsible for these matters.
He said that in the Greek Constitution is stated that they (who is we?) should have national, Christian, Greek-Christian education.
He probably thinks the Constitution is under his jurisdiction.
