False Dilemma Christianity of Islam

Many people claim to be atheists or non-religious and say that between Islam and Christianity, they choose Christianity. They say Europe is Christian. Partly maybe, but don't they think that if they and many people they know are atheists or agnostics and do not believe in Christianity, how come Europe is a Christian Continent? If more than a half leaves a Church than Europe is atheistic, agnostic or syncretic or non-religious. Europe was, conquered by Christians, downtrodden by Christians, there was a French Revolution against Christianity, there was a second one, so people are now free to choose. Most feasts have a pagan backround, anyway.

Archbishop of Peiraius, what kind of person is he?

At a nursing home which belongs to the Church of Peiraius, it was decided that all smokers had to go away. It didn't matter if they smoked in the building or outside. Every resident has to sign a document that he is a non-smoker and even if he smokes around the corner, the home will expel him. Many of them are poor people with no relation at all, and if someone gives them a cigarette they will have to die in the streets.
Another incident shows that he is shameless. The current minister of Education of Greece wants to make slight changes to the course of religion. The Church of course makes a lot of fuss and the minister is quite often on TV talking about this subject. Probably he was asked something about christian morality and the minister said that the Greek Church didn't do anything at the time of the Nazi Occupation and the Dictatorship of 1967-1974.
The Archbishop of Peiraius born in December 1956 was present by the uprising of the students in the Greek Polytechneio, where was the minister? The minister was born in 1960 and the uprising was November 1973. The Archbishop became monk and priest in 1980. So even if he was in the building in 1973 he wasn't a member of the Church.

The Archbishop of Cyprus is utterly vexatious

The Article 18 paragraph 7 of the Cypriot Constitution states that until someone is sixteen, the choice of religion is taken by his guardians. However Church Christians feel that the laws of the 3 Yahwehs are above any other laws. So one headmaster decided to take the pupils of a nursery school to a church without the parents consent to worship some relics. The Ombudsman said that this was against the Human Rights, against International and European Law and the Constitution of Cyprus.
Relics are disgusting for 5 year-old kids. Even teachers and church's laymen personnel kept us away from them, only priests tried to persuade us that we should kiss the cases containing them.
Then the Archbishop intervened and said that it is not up the Ombudsman to decide, every school has a program to follow. The school of course has to follow the instructions of the State, the headmaster cannot do whatever he likes or whatever the Archbishop likes.
The Archbishop then said that the pupils will go to Church either everyone else likes it or not. He feels as the true monarch of the island, as the Word of the 3 Yahwehs. All others have not the least significance.
The Archbishop said, that in matters of faith only he should be asked. He believes that only the Eastern Christian Church is the Truth and Good and all the others are Lies and Evil, so every child has to become a member of his Church.
And then he says that the Orthodox Church doesn't force anybody to go the Church and worship. After saying that the kids will go there, either they like it or not. And nobody makes any thoughts about his mental health.

Medieval Greek State. The Case of Alexander Velios

Alexander Velios was a 63-year-old journalist, who was diagnosed with cancer and decided to go by "not assisted euthanasia". He announced that he would do it and recorded it on a video tape. He wrote a book about it. He finally did it. And the barbaric, medieval, inquisitional, misanthropic Greek state vindicated him and tries to intimidate all humanists. If they could they would do everything they did at the times of Byzantium.
The Greek judicial system made a peculiar decision and ordered the exhumation of the body of Mr. Velios, in order to see if there was a fluid injected or not.
The Greek theocrats and their servants say that Greece is not a theocracy and everyone is free to believe whatever one likes. This statement is contradicted by everyday's practice.
They cannot punish Mr. Velios anymore, but they can make it difficult for other people who have the same view about life and death.
Christians are frightened of death, because they don't know what Yahweh is going to decide about them. So probably they didn't believe he would do it. He was too calm about it.
Now, they will try to frighten relatives and doctors, so that no one will have a chance to try it. Instead of doctors and nurses doing their job looking after the patients, everybody will be chasing the moribunds.
