At a nursing home which belongs to the Church of Peiraius, it was decided that all smokers had to go away. It didn't matter if they smoked in the building or outside. Every resident has to sign a document that he is a non-smoker and even if he smokes around the corner, the home will expel him. Many of them are poor people with no relation at all, and if someone gives them a cigarette they will have to die in the streets.

The Church of course makes a lot of fuss and the minister is quite often on TV talking about this subject. Probably he was asked something about christian morality and the minister said that the Greek Church didn't do anything at the time of the Nazi Occupation and the Dictatorship of 1967-1974.
